You can disable the Windows Explorer’s ability to show the Thumbnail View.
1. Open regedit (registry editor)
2. Navigate to
HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ Advanced \
3. Change ClassicViewState to 1
4. Close regedit
