Following these steps to disable stop the CD ROM from automatically running
1. Open registry editor.
2.Navigate to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Cdrom.
3. Right click on AutoRun String and select Modify.
4. Change the value to 0.
5. Click OK.
